Senior Finance Executive

Job Overview

The Senior Finance Executive plays a key role in managing and overseeing day-to-day financial operations. This role ensures accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions, supports financial planning and reporting, and provides guidance to junior finance staff. The Senior Finance Executive also collaborates with stakeholders to improve processes and maintain Eezee's financial integrity.

Job Interactions & Interface:

This role interacts with internal staff: Business development, operations management, logistics and fulfillment.

This role reports to: Finance Manager / CFO

Key Responsibilities

·      Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management

·      Review and verify the accuracy of invoices, payments, and expense claims

·      Perform complex reconciliations and resolve discrepancies independently

·      Own the reconciliation of tax-related transactions, including VAT invoices, sales records, GL balances, and withholding tax certificates, to ensure compliance, accuracy, and completeness of tax reporting.

·      Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, statements, and supporting schedules

·      Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring deadlines are met

·      Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

·      Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies

·      Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and external stakeholders as required

·      Provide guidance and support to junior finance team members

·      Recommend and implement improvements to enhance financial processes and controls
