Senior Finance Accountant

Role overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to support accounting, compliance, and financial operations activities within a multinational business environment. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end finance processes, including financial reporting, reconciliations, tax compliance, vendor and intercompany transactions, and statutory reporting while ensuring adherence to local accounting standards and Indonesian regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should have experience working in multinational organizations, exposure to cross-border and intercompany transactions, and strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations including VAT, WHT, and Corporate Income Tax.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules in accordance with company policies and local accounting standards
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, including VAT, WHT, Corporate Income Tax, and statutory reporting requirements
• Coordinate statutory filings, audits, and external reporting with tax consultants, auditors, and government authorities
• Work closely with tax advisors and auditors during tax audits, annual financial audits, and compliance reviews
• Manage vendor, intercompany, and principal payments while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely processing
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, and journal entries
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities to ensure accuracy and proper documentation
• Support regional and local finance teams with monthly reporting and compliance-related matters
• Ensure proper documentation and archiving for audit and tax purposes in line with company and regulatory requirements

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in finance, accounting, and tax within multinational or fast-paced environments
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and statutory compliance requirements (VAT, WHT, CIT, e-Faktur, Coretax, etc.)
• Experience handling financial audits, tax audits, and external stakeholder coordination
• Proficient in ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, NAVision, SAP, or similar accounting systems
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup formulas, and financial analysis
