Job Description

Position Overview 

We are looking for an experienced Senior FAT Manager to oversee the Finance, Accounting, and Tax functions for the company's Indonesia operations. The role will be responsible for ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting, tax compliance, and effective financial management of the Indonesia entity.

As the key finance representative for Indonesia, the successful candidate will also act as the main communication and coordination point between the Indonesia business and the company's Headquarters in Greater China. This position requires strong English communication skills, sound technical finance knowledge, and the ability to work effectively with regional and overseas stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the Finance, Accounting, and Tax functions for the Indonesia entity.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting activities.
  • Ensure accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis.
  • Oversee tax compliance, tax reporting, and tax-related matters in Indonesia.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and working capital management.
  • Establish and maintain strong financial controls, accounting policies, and internal procedures.
  • Work closely with commercial, operations, supply chain, and other functions to support business performance.
  • Act as the key finance liaison between the Indonesia entity and Greater China Headquarters.
  • Prepare and present financial information, business updates, and analysis to overseas management in English.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other relevant external parties.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support business and strategic decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards, tax regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
  • Support the Indonesia business in developing and improving finance processes as the organization grows.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Tax, or Financial Management.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of finance and accounting, with solid understanding of taxation in Indonesia.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • Candidates from medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other manufacturing industries are strongly preferred.
  • Experience from other manufacturing sectors is also welcome, provided the candidate has strong exposure to manufacturing finance. Mining-related backgrounds are less relevant.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, costing, tax, and internal controls.
  • Experience dealing with HQ, regional offices, or overseas stakeholders is highly preferred.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with confidence communicating and presenting financial matters to overseas management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of the Indonesia finance function.
  • Experience working with Chinese / Greater China-based HQ or multinational companies would be an advantage.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
