Role Description

The Senior Event Manager at AVB Media Asia is a full-time on-site role based in Bali or Jakarta, Indonesia. This individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events across diverse industries, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Key responsibilities include managing event logistics, vendor coordination, budgeting, team leadership, and client relationship management. The Senior Event Manager will also oversee on-site operations during events, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results that align with client expectations and brand vision.

Qualifications

• Strong event planning and management skills, with experience in coordinating logistics, timelines, and resources.
• Proficiency in vendor negotiations, budgeting, and cost control to ensure events remain within financial parameters.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities, including supervising event staff and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven track record of maintaining client relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering outstanding customer service.
• Creative problem-solving and communication skills to address challenges and foster collaboration.
• Familiarity with event technologies, audiovisual equipment, and digital tools to enhance event execution is an advantage.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role with a background in managing both small- and large-scale events.
• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Jakarta, Indonesia, and flexibility to work evenings or weekends as required.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and additional languages is a plus.
