We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive, and technology-driven professional to join our ITS team as a Senior Engineer – Infrastructure & Operations (Cloud Architect).
In this role, you will be responsible for providing daily operational and application support to users while collaborating closely with various teams across the IT Services Department. You will play a key role in ensuring reliability, availability, and smooth operation of IT systems and related business processes.
The ideal candidate is able to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high standard of quality and professionalism.
What you will do:
- Serve as the escalation point for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex issues across front-end and back-end environments.
- Respond to technical incidents, service requests, and operational issues in a timely, professional, and effective manner.
- Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to ensure business objectives and service expectations are met.
- Design, implement, and enhance endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Microsoft Intune.
- Streamline the deployment and maintenance of Windows operating systems, security patches, and third-party application updates across enterprise devices.
- Maintain and support internally developed Windows 11 image build and deployment processes using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM).
- Ensure all supported desktop services and infrastructure comply with organizational security standards and agreed patch management requirements.
- Support cloud transformation initiatives, including infrastructure modernization and large-scale application migrations to cloud platforms.
- Perform cloud administration activities, including deployment, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of cloud services.
- Monitor cloud resource utilization, prepare operational reports, and ensure cloud environments remain secure, reliable, and cost-effective.
- Work closely with cross-functional IT teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions and services.
- Create, maintain, and update technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles for various audiences.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure consistent service delivery and support organizational goals
Desired skills and experience:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Security, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to assess situations logically and systematically.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Working knowledge of scripting and automation technologies such as Microsoft PowerShell and VBScript.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices. Relevant experience or certification would be considered an advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with: SCCM/MECM, MDT, MEM, Bitlocker and Windows Hello. Windows 11 and Windows Server administration and support.
- Strong technical experience with Azure cloud technology (Incl Azure DevOps/IaC, Azure SQL managed instance, Azure App Gateway, Azure Data Lake/Factory, Azure Kubernetes) would be advantageous.
