Role Description The Senior Education Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Malang. The individual in this position will advise prospective learners on suitable language programs and study or work abroad pathways, tailoring recommendations to their goals and backgrounds. Daily tasks include conducting consultations, responding to inquiries, guiding learners through application and enrollment processes, and maintaining accurate records of client interactions. The Senior Education Consultant will collaborate with the teaching and operations teams to align education services with learner needs, support marketing activities related to education programs, and contribute to continuous improvement of consulting frameworks. This role also involves mentoring junior consultants, ensuring high-quality customer experience, and representing OTCA's values in all client-facing activities.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Educational Consulting and Education skills to guide learners on language programs and study or work abroad pathways.
  • Candidates should possess solid Consulting skills to assess individual needs and recommend appropriate solutions and learning plans.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with learners and maintain a positive client experience.
  • Experience in academic advising, study abroad, or language education is highly beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple cases, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Language Studies, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English and familiarity with at least one foreign language offered by OTCA is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical, learner-centered guidance.
