Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance applications using the Microsoft .NET framework. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps, to deliver reliable and efficient software solutions aligned with business objectives.
The ideal candidate has strong expertise in .NET technologies, solid architectural understanding, and experience working in agile environments. You should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of taking ownership of projects from development through deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable applications using .NET / .NET Core.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to other developers when necessary.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in development and production environments.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other agile ceremonies.
- Assist in deployment processes and work closely with DevOps teams for CI/CD implementation.
- Ensure software quality through unit testing and integration testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in .NET development.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API.
- Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (Azure is a plus).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills.
