We are currently hiring for several strategic and senior technical positions.
Position Overview
As a Senior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for database reliability, performance, availability, backup, recovery, and security. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone with strong hands-on database expertise in critical production environments.
Responsibilities- Database Operations
- Manage, monitor, and maintain production databases.
- Ensure database availability, performance, backup, recovery, and security.
- Performance Optimization
- Perform query tuning, indexing, schema review, and capacity planning.
- Identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks.
- Reliability & Recovery
- Manage replication, clustering, backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
- Improve database resilience and operational readiness.
- Engineering Support
- Work closely with engineering teams on database design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Support migration, upgrade, and modernization initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience as a DBA or database engineer.
- Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle, SQL Server, or similar relational databases.
- Experience with performance tuning, backup and recovery, replication, clustering, and high availability.
- Experience managing large-scale transactional databases is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud database services is a plus.
