Senior Data Scientist

Job desc:

1. Responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytics models to assess credit risk and make data-driven decisions.
2. Develop and maintain predictive models for credit risk assessment using machine learning and statistical techniques.
3. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to credit risk.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk models into business processes.
5. Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts.
6. Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory requirements related to credit risk.
7. Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in data science, with a focus on credit risk modeling.
3. Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly in credit risk and lending practices.
4. Proficiency in statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
5. Expertise in using programming languages like Python and SQL.
6. Experience with machine learning algorithms and data mining techniques.
7. Familiarity with big data platforms like Hadoop, Spark, or similar technologies.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities.
