Senior Data Platform Engineer

What You'll Do

• Design and optimize data models for both operational (OLTP) and analytics (OLAP) systems
• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines (batch & near real-time)
• Own PostgreSQL performance tuning (indexes, partitioning, query optimization, materialized views)
• Manage data flow from Raw Staging Serving layers
• Ensure data quality, validation, and clear lineage
• Implement logging, monitoring, and reliability best practices
• Support auditability, compliance, and disaster recovery standards
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-performance data systems

Required Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years in Data Engineering or backend data systems
• Proven ownership of production-grade pipelines
• Experience with S3-compatible storage systems
• Exposure to AI/ML data workflows
• Strong SQL expertise
• Strong PostgreSQL experience (schema design + performance tuning)
• Proven experience in data modelling (normalized OLTP + serving/reporting models)
• Proficiency in Python (or equivalent) for pipeline automation
• Experience working with object storage (MinIO/S3)
• Solid understanding of indexing, partitioning, and materialized views
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and reliability practices in production
