Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, with 3–4 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
- Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, performance optimization, and data modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema).
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS, Talend, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent.
- Familiar with databases/data warehouses such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, or equivalent, and REST/SOAP API integration for data consolidation.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus.
- Experience working with Business Analysts/users to prepare data sources for BI/reporting.
- Understanding of data governance and data quality, including validation, cleansing, and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from databases, applications, and APIs to the data warehouse, including API integrations to consolidate data across systems.
- Design and manage data warehouse structures and data models.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability.
- Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data process failures.
- Publish Business Analyst datasets/reports to the internal reporting portal.
- Maintain technical documentation for data architecture, pipelines, and integrations.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts/users and IT teams to support BI/reporting and technical requirements.
