- Analyze requirements to improve the Data Platform
- Design, develop, and deliver reliable data warehouses
- Collaborate with the Data Team to help them discover and use existing data assets
- Coach and mentor fellow data engineers
- Provide recommendations on data architecture across the organization.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with strong proficiency in GCP (BigQuery, Composer, Cloud Functions/Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python programming with at least 4 years of professional experience
- Familiarity with dbt for data modeling and transformation, with strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts
- Experience working with data platforms that support discovery, observability, quality, and reliability
- Experience with third-party behavior analytics tools (e.g., Firebase, Appsflyer, CleverTap)
- Experience working with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases
- Strong skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries and pipelines for performance and cost efficiency
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code is a plus
- Ability to analyze and utilize data to provide insights for business decision-making
- At least 1 year of experience with data quality tools/frameworks
- Strong understanding of investment and business is a plus
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
