We are looking for a strategic and commercially driven Senior Category Growth to lead end-to-end category strategy across Indonesia's offline channels, including General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT), and Modern Trade Independent (MTI).
In this role, you will drive sustainable category growth through strong commercial strategy, shopper and channel insights, and close cross-functional collaboration. You will play a key leadership role in shaping business decisions, influencing stakeholders, and translating data into impactful growth initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Category Strategy & Business Planning
- Develop and lead integrated category growth strategies across all offline channels
- Define category vision, channel roles, shopper missions, and growth opportunities by trade format
- Build and execute annual category roadmaps aligned with company growth objectives and brand priorities
- Identify white space opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives to accelerate category performance
Channel & Customer Strategy
- Partner closely with Sales and Key Account teams to integrate category strategies into Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
- Drive customer and channel segmentation strategies to maximize growth opportunities
- Influence assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotional strategies to improve category performance and shopper conversion
- Lead strategic discussions with key retail partners and internal stakeholders
Insights & Commercial Performance
- Utilize Nielsen, Kantar, internal sales data, and market intelligence to identify actionable business opportunities
- Monitor category performance metrics including market share, sell-out, distribution, and channel productivity
- Translate complex data into clear commercial recommendations and strategic actions for senior management
Portfolio & Promotion Management
- Recommend SKU prioritization and channel-specific assortment strategies
- Collaborate with Pricing and Trade Marketing teams to optimize promotional effectiveness and profitability
- Support innovation launches by ensuring strong offline channel readiness and execution excellence
Cross-functional Leadership
- Act as the voice of category, shopper, and channel within strategic business discussions
- Collaborate effectively with Brand, Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Data Analytics teams
- Influence stakeholders through strong business storytelling, strategic thinking, and commercial recommendations
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or any related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Category Management, Trade Marketing, Commercial Strategy, or Sales Strategy within FMCG or Beauty/Personal Care industry
- Strong professional communication skills in English
- Strong understanding of Indonesia's offline retail landscape, including GT, MT, and MTI
- Proven track record in developing category growth strategies and influencing commercial decisions
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance strategic thinking and business impact
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Highly analytical with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations
- Experience using Nielsen, Kantar, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint
- Strong presentation, communication, and leadership capabilities
