OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Senior C&S Engineer provides specialist technical oversight of all civil and structural works across the Data Center construction programme in Indonesia. This role ensures that foundations, superstructure, raised floors, civil drainage, and associated structural elements are designed and constructed in compliance with approved specifications and Indonesian structural standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and comment on civil and structural engineering design drawings, structural calculations, and shop drawings.
- Inspect and supervise civil and structural works on-site, including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and raised flooring systems.
- Coordinate civil interfaces with MEP, ELV, and architectural teams.
- Review and approve civil/structural ITPs and method statements submitted by contractors.
- Manage construction quality of civil works including earthworks, concrete, and structural steel.
- Identify and resolve civil and structural technical issues, RFIs, and contractor queries.
- Coordinate with local structural inspection authorities and ensure compliance with Indonesian building codes (SNI structural standards).
- Monitor civil works progress against the project schedule and report to the Construction Manager.
- Review geotechnical reports, piling records, and foundation test results.
- Support close-out documentation including as-built civil drawings and structural certificates.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 10 years in civil and structural engineering on commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, structural steel, and foundation systems.
- Familiarity with Indonesian structural standards (SNI Beton, SNI Baja) and seismic design considerations.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting structural drawings, rebar schedules, and geotechnical reports.
- Experience on Data Center, industrial, or mission-critical facility structures preferred.
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Registered Engineer (Insinyur Profesional / IP) with PII preferred.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills on complex structural challenges.
