Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and scale a team of up to 5 Business Development Managers (BDMs), driving overall team performance to achieve sales targets
  • Develop and execute market expansion strategies targeting Chinese and Chinese-Indonesian businesses in cross-border trade and e-commerce
  • Support team members in key client acquisition, negotiations and closing high-value deals
  • Ensure the team has a strong understanding of XTransfer's products and can effectively position them to clients
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to continuously optimize sales strategies
  • Work closely with internal teams (Risk, Operations, Product) to ensure smooth onboarding and client experience
  • Set clear KPIs, track performance, provide coaching and regular feedback to develop a high performing BDM team

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Chinese (spoken & written) – essential for client communication and internal coordination
  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B / Business Development / To B sales, preferably in Indonesia market
  • At least 1–2 years of team management experience, with proven ability to lead and deliver team results
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, pipeline management and KPI-driven performance
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Background (Strong Advantage):

  • Experience in cross-border e-commerce platforms (e.g. Shopee) or related ecosystem
  • Background in cross-border logistics, freight forwarding or customs clearance
  • Experience in fintech, payment or financial services
  • Experience in B2B SaaS / ERP / internet To B sales (e.g. platforms like BigSeller)
  • Exposure to cross-border trade or import/export businesses
  • Existing network within Chinese or Chinese-Indonesian business communities
  • Experience in building or scaling a sales team from scratch
