Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Actively hunt for new customers and build a robust sales pipeline to achieve monthly/annual KPIs.
- Account Management: Manage a portfolio of customers, ensuring retention through regular visits, business reviews, and solving problems. Conduct MBR, QBR if necessary with customer.
- Quotation & Negotiation: Prepare, present, and negotiate sales quotations and proposals, ensuring competitive pricing for freight services.
- Operational Liaison: Coordinate with internal operation teams (customer service, air/sea freight) to ensure smooth shipment handling and service excellence.
- Market Intelligence: Gather intelligence on competitor activity, sector trends, verticals, and trade lanes.
- Documentation & CRM: Maintain accurate client information and sales activity in the company database (CRM).
Requirements
- Experience: 4–5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or related shipping services.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Logistics preferred.
- Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the Indonesian shipping market particularly Semarang and its regional area, import/export, and customs procedures.
- Languages: Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
