PERSOL Indonesia is currently hiring Senior Brand Manager with high & competitive benefit package for Footwear Manufacture to be placed in Surabaya - East Java, detailed as follow:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Brand Strategy & Transformation
- Lead the brand transformation process to reposition the company as a modern lifestyle footwear brand.
- Define and implement brand DNA, positioning, tone of voice, and visual identity.
- Maintain brand consistency across offline and online platforms.
2. Product Management
- Conduct market research on footwear trends and the needs of Indonesian consumers, especially Gen Z.
- Formulate product concepts and direction for the next 6 months (trend forecasting).
- Collaborate with R&D to develop prototypes and design options.
- Evaluate prototypes to ensure alignment with market insights.
- Submit mass-production requests and oversee production timeline and quality.
- Spend significant time at the factory during prototype and design stages.
3. Distribution & Sales Coordination
- Coordinate with the distribution team to ensure product availability and launch readiness.
- Manage go-to-market strategy, launch planning, and product performance tracking.
4. Marketing & Digital Activation
- Lead digital marketing across online channels: marketplace stores, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
- Develop creative content directions aimed at Gen Z, focusing on viral, high-engagement storytelling.
- Work closely with agencies and vendors for social media and branding campaigns.
- Oversee promotional activities for both General Trade (GT) and online channels.
5. Team Leadership
- Manage teams in design, prototyping, distribution coordination, and social media/branding.
- Identify talent needs and expand the team when required.
6. Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Revenue growth for the footwear brand portfolio.
- Brand awareness, engagement, and perception improvements.
Requirements:
Experience
- 610 years of experience in brand management, product marketing, or related fields.
- Proven experience leading brand image or brand DNA transformation.
- Background in fashion or footwear preferred; open to candidates from high-fanbase industries (e.g., FMCG brands with strong youth following).
- Demonstrated ability to create viral, youth-focused content consistently.
- Strong Digital Marketing experience (social media strategy, content direction, online activation).
Skills
- Deep understanding of Gen Z culture, behavior, and lifestyle trends.
- Strong creative direction and storytelling skills.
- Competence in market research, consumer insight, and trend forecasting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with R&D, design, production, and distribution teams.
- Analytical skills for tracking brand performance and sales data.
- Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
