Job Summary

The Senior Asset Management is responsible for reviewing and coordinating repair and maintenance requests before they are submitted to the Procurement team. This role ensures that all requests are complete, technically accurate, within budget, and include the correct specifications and quantities. Working closely with stakeholders and the Procurement team, the role acts as the key coordinator to ensure the right materials and services are sourced efficiently. A strong background in Quantity Surveying (QS) is essential to accurately validate quantities, prepare cost estimates, and support budget control for repair and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review repair and maintenance requests from stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits when required to verify project scope and requirements.
  • Check material specifications, quantities, and scope of work before submitting requests to Procurement.
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material take-offs, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to clarify technical requirements and project needs.
  • Liaise with the Procurement team by providing complete and accurate documentation for sourcing.
  • Monitor maintenance budgets and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain records of maintenance requests, asset information, and project costs.
  • Support planning for repair, replacement, and maintenance of company assets.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying (preferred), Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Repair & Maintenance, Facilities Management, Asset Management, or the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, material take-offs, cost estimation, and budgeting.
  • Good understanding of building materials and repair & maintenance works.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and Procurement teams.
