SENIOR ADVISOR - BUSINESS EXCELLENCE
(National - Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
Provide independent technical and operational advisory services solutions within mining and/or metallurgical disciplines to identify, evaluate, and recommend performance improvement opportunities, lead operational assessments, and support management decision making through data-driven analysis, benchmarking, innovation, and implementation of industry best practices to improve productivity, process efficiency, asset utilization, metal recovery, operational excellence, and operating cost performance across the Company's operational value chain.
Operational Performance Analysis
- Do operational performance assessments, benchmarking studies, and performance gap analyses across assigned operational areas.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve productivity, process efficiency, recovery performance, equipment utilization, and operating cost performance.
- Provide independent assessments and recommendations based on operational data, business requirements, and industry practices.
Improvement Strategy & Planning
- Develop and recommend operational improvement initiatives based on business impact, feasibility, and operational priorities.
- Develop implementation roadmaps, milestones, and measurable success criteria for approved initiatives.
- Deliver performance improvement opportunities within their respective operational areas to Department Heads.
Performance Monitoring
- Review the implementation effectiveness of improvement initiatives and evaluate the achievement of expected outcomes.
- Assess realized benefits against planned targets and recommend corrective actions where required.
- Recommend integration of successful improvement outcomes into future operational targets and business plans.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory Solution
- Build and maintain effective relationships with operational leadership and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to support successful execution of improvement initiatives.
- Provide independent operational and technical advice to Department Heads and operational leadership.
External Collaboration & Innovation
- Engage with industry experts, consultants, technology providers, research institutions, and universities, both domestically and internationally, to support operational improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, innovative mining practices, metallurgical advancements, and industry best practices.
- Recommend adoption of best practices that improve safety, productivity, efficiency, recovery, and cost performance.
Reporting & Executive Support
- Prepare management reports, analytical studies, business cases, and executive presentations.
- Present operational assessments, analytical findings, and improvement recommendations to management.
- Provide technical recommendations and advisory solutions to support operational decision-making.
- Other duties as assigned
What skills and experience do you need
- Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering; Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in copper mining operations.
- Strong operational knowledge in open pit mining, mineral processing, or integrated mining operations, including Copper Smelter and Precious Metal Refinery.
- Experience in operational performance analysis, process optimization, continuous improvement, operational excellence, business improvement, or technical services is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mining and processing KPIs, productivity analysis, recovery optimization, equipment utilization, and cost performance management.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence methodologies.
- Proven ability to develop business cases, technical analyses, improvement roadmaps, and management reports.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with international stakeholders and technical experts.
- Strong people leadership, coaching, and team development capability and cross-functional coordination skills; Strong safety leadership mindset with hands-on field engagement and high safety awareness with a risk-based maintenance mindset; Strong planning, prioritization, and problem-solving capability; Decisive, resilient, and able to perform under high operational pressure; Effective communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Working Location : Site Based - West Sumbawa
Working Schedule : Regular working days 5:2 (Monday-Friday)
