About the Role
We are looking for a senior-level Accounting Manager to take ownership of the company's Accounting and Tax functions across multiple business units within the group. This role requires hands-on experience in end-to-end financial reporting, multi-entity consolidation, and cost efficiency initiatives, particularly within a retail business environment.
This position is intended for candidates with a strong Accounting & Tax background (non-Finance), who are capable of independently reviewing financial reports, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving cost discipline across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Handle financial reporting and consolidation for multiple business units or legal entities within the group
- Review general ledger, journal entries, and accounting treatments to maintain data integrity
- Analyze financial performance and identify cost reduction and efficiency opportunities
- Ensure compliance with PSAK, ETAP, and Indonesian tax regulations
- Manage tax reporting, reconciliation, and compliance matters
- Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Provide clear financial reports and explanations to management to support decision-making
- Lead and guide the accounting team to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting, with exposure at managerial level
- Strong experience in Accounting & Tax (non-Finance role)
- Experience handling multiple business units/entities within a group structure
- Good understanding of PSAK, ETAP, and Indonesian tax regulations
- Experience in retail industry is an advantage
- Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills
- Good leadership and people management skills
