Senior Accounting (Inventory and Costing)

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and oversee product costing activities to ensure accurate product cost calculations
• Calculate and maintain inventory unit costs, including landed cost allocation for imported and locally sourced inventory
• Ensure the accuracy of inventory valuation using appropriate costing methodologies
• Perform and monitor Inventory Reconciliation on a regular basis
• Manage and reconcile Deposits and GR/NI (Goods Receipt/Not Invoiced) balances
• Investigate and resolve inventory and costing discrepancies
• Collaborate closely with the Accounting, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy
• Drive continuous improvements in costing, inventory management, and financial reporting processes
• Support management in decision-making by preparing accurate costing analyses, inventory reports, and financial insights
• Assist in system enhancement initiatives, process improvements, and ERP implementation related to costing and inventory management
• Lead and support the team to ensure timely completion of daily operations, month-end closing, reconciliations, and audit requirements
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Min 3 years experience as a Accounting Inventory, Costing Specialist, or Costing Lead
• Experience in inventory accounting within a retail, FMCG, or manufacturing company is a strong advantage
• Strong hands-on experience in Product Costing, Inventory Unit Price Calculation, Landed Cost Calculation and Allocation, Inventory Reconciliation, Deposit & Goods Receipt Reconciliation
• Solid understanding of inventory accounting, inventory valuation, and costing principles
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
