Senior Accountant

How can you support us Here are below your responsibilities:

• Responsible for the end-to-end management of full sets of accounts for our Malaysia and Korea branches, balancing daily accounting activities with high-level oversight of audits (Big 4), tax compliance, and internal controls.
• Manage full sets of accounts and quarterly reporting (consolidation in SAP for corporate based in Italy, IFRS 16, etc)
• Intercompany accountings, including intercompany notice of accruals, reconciliations, etc
• Handle tax compliance, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and Transfer Pricing for regional branches.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies (e.g., Bank Negara Malaysia), Quarterly Bank Negara reporting (eg. IIP), Statistical surveys
• Malaysia E-Invoicing
• Compile VAT return / Corporate Income Tax return / CBCR for the Korean branch and submit the supporting documents/information to the tax agents in Korea.
• Liaise with branch HR in Korea concerning the monthly statutory payments for foreign personnel

What are we looking for

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Minimum 810 years of proven expertise in accounting within an MNC (preferably EPC, Oil & Gas, or Construction).
• Strong proficiency in SAP ERP and MS Excel.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, ACMA, or CGMA are highly prioritised.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Malaysia and South Korea.
