Our team is seeking a Security Manager to join our team in Indonesia. In this position, you will oversee all aspects of security within market. This role integrates geopolitical insight, threat intelligence, security risk management and crisis response across the market. This role ensures the protection of both physical assets and employees, while implementing security policies and procedures to prevent any security breaches, theft, or harm.
What you'll do
Planning
- Assess potential security risks and threats and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
- Partner with the business to implement security policies across Inchcape sites, ensure compliance, and promote best practices while collaborating with site leaders and key stakeholders.
- Maintain relationships with law enforcement, government security agencies, and security providers while leveraging threat intelligence, conducting risk assessments, and expanding networks with local authorities and security professionals to identify, anticipate, and mitigate threats to Inchcape, its people, and business interests.
Operations
- Ensure the security of physical assets, office locations, warehouses, and other facilities.
- Lead in the development of risk assessments and physical security plans, security operation procedures, and emergency protocols for projects in the market and drive security planning for events, internal and customer-facing, to inform proportionate risk mitigation measures.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems.
Training
- Design and conduct training programs to enhance employee awareness of security procedures, risk mitigation strategies, conflict resolution and emergency protocols.
Crisis & Incident Management & Investigations
- Collaborate with partners to respond to, investigate, and remediate any security incidents.
- Support leadership in making travel risk management decisions and assist global travellers and respond to security incidents.
- Liaise with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and external security agencies when necessary.
About you
- An experienced security professional with 3-5 years in a country security manager role and a broad network of security contacts across market.
- Proven experience in managing both physical security systems and employee safety programs.
- Background in risk management, emergency response, and facility security operations.
- Experience dealing with travel safety & security briefings, as well as local or national crisis situations
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to respond quickly to security, safety and sensitive situations
- Ability to travel in country including some evening and weekend work
