Security Analyst

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Security Analyst located in Tangerang. In this position, the Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and managing cybersecurity measures to protect organizational systems and data. The role involves analyzing and identifying security threats, managing application and network security, responding to incidents, and conducting malware analysis. The Security Analyst will also collaborate closely with IT teams to implement security enhancements and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or Cyber Security
• 2–5 years experience in SOC or cybersecurity roles (preferably SOC L1)
• Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)
• Skilled in SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar) and EDR/XDR platforms
• Able to investigate security incidents and perform root cause analysis (RCA)
• Experience in threat detection, log analysis, and incident response handling
• Familiar with malware, phishing, ransomware, and MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Able to work in 24/7 shift-based environment under pressure
• Security certifications (Security+, CEH, SC-200) are a plus
