Position Overview
As a Director/Manager, you will carry end-to-end responsibility for client projects, including overall accountability for specific modules in large-scale engagements. You will work closely with clients to deepen understanding of competitive dynamics, craft strategies, and secure C-suite buy-in. This is the closest position to Partnership — with the autonomy to build your own practice, shape the firm's direction, and define YCP's market position in your domain.

Key Responsibilities for Partners
- Develop and generate new consulting led projects proactively.
- Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand existing client accounts.
- Lead proposal development, pricing strategy and contract negotiations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
- Own P&L portfolio of accounts or service line.
- Mentor and develop senior leaders (Directors, Managers).
Key Responsibilities for Directors
- Lead large-scale client projects with full delivery accountability
- Manage multiple concurrent projects
- Build long-term relationships with client C-suite and decision-makers
- Establish and codify practice areas; build thought leadership
- Contribute directly to firm management (hiring, talent development, strategic planning)
- Represent YCP at industry events and conferences
- Develop and elevate team capability across the organisation
Key Responsibilities for Manager
- Oversee multiple project modules and lead cross-geography engagements
- Translate complex analyses into pragmatic, high-impact strategic recommendations to guide client decision-making
- Build direct relationships with client C-suite and decision-makers
- Develop and manage project teams (Associates, Analysts)
- Lead proposal writing and participate in client pitches
- Develop and codify practice area expertise

Key Responsibilities for Associate
- Own one or more workstreams within client engagements
- Develop hypotheses, design analytical frameworks, and formulate strategic recommendations
- Lead client meetings and workshops (including facilitation)
- Guide, review, and mentor Analysts
- Support proposal writing and scoping documents
- Lead due diligence workstreams for PE transactions
Key Responsibilities for Analyst
- Conduct primary and secondary research on market sizing, competitive landscapes, and industry dynamics across Asian markets
- Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and scenario planning frameworks
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify patterns, trends, and strategic implications
- Prepare client-ready deliverables including presentations, reports, and data visualisations
- Support due diligence workstreams for PE/M&A transactions (CDD/BDD)
- Collaborate with senior team members on hypothesis development and issue tree structuring
- Participate in client workshops and stakeholder interviews
Required Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent master's degree (top-tier school)
- Required years of experience for following levels as follow: 0-2 years (Analyst), 3-5 years (Associate), 5-7 years (Manager), 7+ years (Director/ Partner)
- Experience in strategy/management consulting, investment banking, PE/VC, audit, law, or related fields is required
- For Directors & Managers, Big 4 at Manager level or above with internal promotion track record, or strategy firm with 3-5+ years will be considered
- English at business level or above
- Native-level proficiency in a local language (Japanese, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Thai, Bahasa Indonesia, Malay, etc.)
- Demonstrated C-suite / board-level advisory capability and executive presence
- Proven track record of building and maintaining high-performing teams
