Scientific and Business Department Head

Qualifications

• Minimum Master's Degree (S2) in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or Public Health
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Medical Affairs, CRO, or Business Development for B2B or B2C research services
• Proven track record of bringing in deals and clients (portfolio required)
• Strong professional network within the healthcare industry (pharmaceutical companies, biotech, hospitals, or universities)
• Solid understanding of clinical research and research design
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Able to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage scientific and business development activities within the department
• Develop and execute business growth strategies for research services
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, sponsors, and stakeholders
• Drive B2B and B2C deals, including pitching, negotiation, and closing agreements
• Oversee proposal development, scope of work, and budgeting for research projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery and revenue targets
• Represent the organization in discussions with sponsors, partners, and investors
