Role Description The School Doctor is a full-time or part time, on-site role located in Kecamatan Parung, responsible for safeguarding the health and wellbeing of students and staff at the boarding school. Daily tasks include conducting health assessments, providing primary medical care, managing minor injuries and illnesses, and determining when referrals to external healthcare facilities are necessary. The School Doctor monitors ongoing health conditions, maintains accurate medical records, and oversees medication administration in collaboration with school staff. The role also involves promoting preventive healthcare through health education, vaccination coordination, and hygiene campaigns, while supporting emergency response protocols and contributing to policies that ensure a safe, healthy school environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed medical doctor with valid registration in Indonesia, preferably with experience in general practice, pediatrics, or adolescent medicine.
• Strong clinical skills in physical examination, diagnosis, treatment of common acute and chronic conditions, and basic emergency care.
• Ability to manage medical records, maintain confidentiality, and follow school health protocols and relevant regulations.
• Excellent communication and counseling skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and school staff from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on-site, respond calmly in urgent situations, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary school environment.
• Experience in health promotion, preventive care, and organizing health education programs is highly beneficial.
• Willingness to work in a boarding school setting aligned with Islamic values and to support the holistic development of students.
