Fellows Academy as a part of Vista Education is looking for a Part-Time Scholarship Mentor to guide students in preparing for university and scholarship applications.
You will help students identify suitable opportunities, strengthen their profiles, and build a clear and realistic application strategy based on your own scholarship experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct personalized mentoring sessions based on students goals and readiness.
- Guide students in selecting suitable universities and scholarships.
- Help students strengthen their academic and extracurricular profiles.
- Support students in planning their application strategy and timeline.
- Provide feedback on CVs, essays, personal statements, and other application materials.
- Prepare students for scholarship and university interviews.
- Research relevant scholarships, universities, and application requirements.
- Track student progress and communicate updates with the Fellows Academy team.
Qualifications
- Must be a current or former scholarship awardee.
- Bachelor's degree or currently completing one.
- Strong communication and mentoring skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Familiar with scholarship and university application processes.
- Able to guide students with different backgrounds, goals, and target destinations.
- Organized, responsible, and open to feedback.
- Previous mentoring, teaching, or education experience is preferred.
