SCAFFOLDING ENGINEER
Job Description
- Develop and review scaffolding designs based on project requirements and work scope.
- Plan and coordinate scaffolding activities to support construction and maintenance operations.
- Supervise scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling activities on site.
- Ensure all scaffolding work complies with project procedures, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure scaffolding structures are safe and fit for use.
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, and HSE teams regarding scaffolding access requirements.
- Identify potential risks and provide technical solutions related to scaffolding systems.
- Prepare technical documentation, inspection reports, and scaffolding approvals when required.
- Support project execution to ensure activities are completed safely, on schedule, and within quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related discipline).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in scaffolding engineering within construction or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding design principles, load calculations, and inspection standards.
- Familiar with international scaffolding standards and safety regulations.
- Scaffolding certification or related training is an required.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work in a high-safety standard project environment.
