SAP Solution Analyst (FI/CO) is responsible for analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional SAP solutions within the Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. This role bridges finance stakeholders and IT teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements from finance stakeholders
- Design and configure SAP FI/CO modules to meet business needs
- Support core FI processes: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR),Asset Accounting (AA)
- Support CO processes: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing / COPA
- Perform system configuration, testing, and documentation
- Lead or support SAP implementation and rollout projects
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and defects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, PP modules)
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
- Provide end-user training and support
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or related field
- 3–7+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO
- Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles
- Hands-on configuration experience in SAP FI and CO modules
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (preferred)
- Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
Technical Skills
- SAP FI configuration (GL, AP, AR, AA)
- SAP CO configuration (CCA, PCA, IO, COPA)
- Knowledge of:
- Financial closing processes
- Tax and regulatory requirements
- Data migration and reconciliation
- Familiarity with:
- SAP Fiori apps
- Basic ABAP debugging (nice to have)
