Role Overview:
The SAP Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering SAP implementation within scope, time, and budget. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to SAP best practices and methodologies.
Project Duration : 12 months (Extendable)
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
- Monitor project progress and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide progress reports
- Team Leadership Lead SAP functional and technical consultants. Ensure collaboration across modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PM, etc.)
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology or ASAP
- Validate deliverables against business requirements and compliance standards
- Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets and ensure cost control
- Coordinate vendor and third-party resources
- Change Management: Drive user adoption through training and communication
- Manage change requests and impact analysis
- Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP modules and integration points
- Project Management: Skills Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira)
- Knowledge of methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SAP Activate)
- Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- 15 years + SAP experience, including 3+ years in project management
