We are looking for a skilled SAP Production Planning (PP) to join our growing SAP team. The role requires hands-on experience in the end-to-end production planning cycle, including discrete, repetitive, or process manufacturing. The ideal candidate will provide functional expertise, system configuration, and support in both project implementation and system maintenance environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and translate business requirements into SAP PP solutions.
Configure SAP PP module covering:
Master Data (Material Master, Work Center, Routing, BOM)
Demand Management (PIRs, forecasting)
MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
Production Orders (creation, release, confirmation, settlement)
Capacity Planning
Shop Floor Control
Integration with QM, WM, SD, and MM modules
Participate in all phases of SAP implementation, from blueprinting to go-live and support.
Design and document functional specifications for custom developments or enhancements.
Support end-users through training, testing (unit, integration, and UAT), and post-go-live stabilization.
Analyze system performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with ABAP developers, technical teams, and cross-functional consultants.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in coordination with the support team.
Maintain SAP best practices and compliance standards during all configuration efforts.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in IT, Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP (ECC or S/4HANA).
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and production execution.
Proven experience in SAP configuration and process mapping in the PP module.
Experience in discrete manufacturing (process manufacturing knowledge is a plus).
Familiarity with integration points across modules (especially MM, SD, QM, WM, FI/CO).
Ability to develop detailed documentation and training materials.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in SAP S/4HANA environment and Fiori applications.
SAP PP Certification is an advantage.
Knowledge of SAP MES integration or third-party production systems.
Understanding of batch management, variant configuration, or Kanban is a plus.
