Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant to join our Indonesia delivery team. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, rollout, and support of SAP PP solutions, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and alignment with client manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP PP implementation, rollout, and support projects across multiple clients in the APAC region
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements
- Configure SAP PP modules including:
- Production Planning & Control
- MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
- Demand Management
- Capacity Planning
- Shop Floor Control
- Ensure integration with MM, SD, QM, and PM modules
- Prepare functional specifications (FS) for RICEFW objects and coordinate with technical teams
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and propose scalable SAP solutions
- Support data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), and go-live activities
- Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution in an SLA-driven environment
- Drive process optimization and continuous improvements for manufacturing clients
- Prepare project documentation, SOPs, and audit-ready deliverables
- Act as onsite/offshore coordinator with regional/global teams
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP module
- Proven experience in at least 2–3 full lifecycle SAP implementations
- Strong expertise in:
- Production Orders & Process Orders
- MRP configuration and execution
- BOM (Bill of Materials) & Routing
- Work Centres and Capacity Planning
- Experience in integration with cross-functional modules (MM, SD, QM)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes (Discrete / Process Industry)
- Experience in S/4HANA environment
- Knowledge of IDOC, interfaces, or integration tools is an advantage
- Ability to work in a client-facing and multicultural environment
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP certification in PP or S/4HANA Production Planning
- Experience working in Indonesia or ASEAN region projects
- Exposure to local compliance and manufacturing practices in Indonesia
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (English required; Bahasa Indonesia preferred)
