Role Overview
We are seeking an SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultant to design, configure, and deploy SAP Master Data Governance solutions across Material, Customer, Supplier, or Finance domains. In this role, you will lead small project streams, solve technical and process challenges, and collaborate closely with project leadership and client teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy end-to-end SAP MDG solutions tailored to business requirements.
- Analyze complex master data issues and adapt existing frameworks to build effective solutions.
- Guide project workflows and lead small team deliverables or dedicated work streams.
- Align day-to-day team goals with broader project strategy.
- Collaborate with supervisors, team members, and client stakeholders.
Technical Capabilities
- Core MDG Design: Experience building Data Governance Workflows and solutions for Material, Customer, Supplier, or Finance master data.
- System Configuration: Hands-on experience configuring:
- Data Models & UI Models
- BRF+ / Rule-Based Workflows
- Change Request Types & Workflow Tasks
- Data Quality, Search Settings & Data Replication
- Fiori Interfaces
- Architecture & Development:
- Familiarity with MDG Hub and Co-deploy architectures.
- Understanding of custom enhancements via ABAP development.
- Knowledge of integration with data tools (SAP Data Services, Information Steward).
- Bonus: SAP Data Migration experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–8 years of experience in SAP MDG with end-to-end implementation cycles.
- Profile: Solid techno-functional skill set with strong knowledge of Master Data Governance processes.
- Certification: Relevant SAP certification is a plus.
