Role Overview
SAP Functional Consultant helps companies manage their purchasing and inventory processes by setting up and supporting procurement functions, working with other SAP modules, gathering business requirements, assisting in testing and training, and resolving issues after the system goes live.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and support of SAP S/4HANA with focus on Controlling (CO)
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration between MM, FI, SD, and PP modules.
- Participate in workshops and meetings with clients to gather business requirements and propose best-practice solutions.
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and work with ABAP developers to ensure quality delivery.
- Assist in testing, training, and documentation activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user training sessions.
- Provide post-go-live support and resolve issues related to procurement and inventory management processes.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of SAP experience, with at least one full lifecycle implementation in SAP S/4HANA CO. Strong understanding of its integration with FI, SD, PS and PP modules.
- Knowledge of supporting and configuring SAP Controlling (CO) processes related to company costs, budgeting, and internal financial reporting.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- SAP S/4HANA certification is a plus.
