Job Title: Senior SAP BW/BOBJ Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and BOBJ (Business Objects) Developer to join our SAP Application Management Services (AMS) team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining SAP BW solutions and integrating them with BOBJ for reporting and analytics. This role is crucial for optimizing our data management processes and delivering valuable insights to our business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP BW Development:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP BW data models, including InfoObjects, DataStore Objects (DSOs), and InfoCubes.
- Create and maintain ETL processes using SAP Data Services or BW Extractors to ensure accurate and timely data loading from source systems.
- Optimize existing data models and processes for performance and efficiency, ensuring data integrity and quality.
Business Objects (BOBJ) Development:
- Develop and maintain BOBJ reports, dashboards, and visualizations based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data presented in BOBJ reports by performing data validation and reconciliation.
System Integration And Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including SAP functional consultants, business analysts, and IT support staff, to ensure seamless integration of BW and BOBJ solutions.
- Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure compliance with data standards and security protocols.
Project Management:
- Participate in various project initiatives, including SAP BW upgrades, migrations, and implementation of new functionalities.
- Prepare project documentation, including design specifications, technical documents, and user guides.
- Provide input on project timelines, scope, and resource allocation.
Job Requirements

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP BW development and at least 8] years of experience with BOBJ.
- Strong knowledge of SAP BW architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in BOBJ tools, including Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and Dashboards.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and HANA modeling is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with SQL and data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a plus.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
