On behalf of our client, we are currently hiring for the following position:
SAP ABAP Developer
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and enhance SAP ABAP applications to support new projects, change requests, and business requirements while ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Design, develop, and support ABAP RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows), with a strong focus on Interface Development, ODATA, CDS Views, REST APIs, and SAP Fiori applications.
- Perform bug fixing, debugging, performance tuning, root cause analysis, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC applications following SAP development best practices.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, execute unit testing, integration testing, and provide post-deployment support to ensure solution quality and system stability.
- Collaborate closely with Functional Consultants, Business Analysts, and cross-functional teams by reviewing technical solutions, providing recommendations, resolving complex issues, and ensuring timely project delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in SAP ABAP Development with strong expertise in ABAP RICEF, particularly Interface Development, within SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of ODATA, CDS Views, SAP Fiori, REST APIs, SAP Workflow, ABAP Performance Optimization, Debugging, and Problem Solving.
- Experience developing enterprise SAP solutions, handling Change Requests, supporting production issues, and delivering high-quality technical documentation and testing activities.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to challenge functional solutions, work collaboratively across teams, and effectively manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Proactive, adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
