Job Description
- Provide First Aid & Emergency Care: Treat minor injuries and illnesses during school hours.
- Administer Medications: Dispense prescribed medications and ensure proper documentation.
- Manage Chronic Conditions: Monitor students with asthma, diabetes, allergies, etc.
- Conduct Health Screenings: Vision, hearing, and other mandated checks.
- Maintain Student Health Records: Keep accurate, up-to-date medical and immunization records.
- Develop Care Plans: Create individual healthcare plans (IHPs) for students with special medical needs.
- Educate Students & Staff: Offer guidance on hygiene, nutrition, mental health, and healthy lifestyles.
- Promote Health Campaigns: Participate in school-wide health initiatives and awareness weeks.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Minimal Education: Bachelor of Nursing
- Registered nurse (STR) certification required
- Having at least 1 year or more experience working with little kids is an advantage.
- Knowledge of community agencies to help students in urgent situations.
- Knowledge & understanding of district policies and procedures in health related protocol.
- Comfortable Speaking and Writing using English.
