What you will do:
As a Technical Project Manager at KPMG, you will lead high-impact Salesforce implementations from discovery to go-live. You are the primary point of contact for our clients and the strategic leader for our internal delivery teams (Architects, Developers, and Consultants).
You aren't just tracking tasks in Jira; you are navigating the Salesforce Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), managing environment strategies, and ensuring that the solutions we build are both technically sound and aligned with the client's business transformation goals.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field
- Familiarity with TPM Toolkit for Project Tracking (i.e. Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, LucidChart), DevOps awareness (Copado, Gearset, Flosum, or GitHub/Bitbucket/GitLab) and Documentation (Business Process Mapping (BPMN), User Story Writing, ERD Review)
- Own the project lifecycle using Agile or Hybrid methodologies. Experience managing Kanban boards and grooming backlogs in Jira or Azure DevOps. Lead Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives. Track project burn rates, resource utilization, and change orders to ensure the engagement remains profitable and on schedule.
- Act as the trusted advisor to client stakeholders, managing expectations regarding budget, timeline, and platform limitations. Advise clients on deliverability best practices, IP warming, and how to structure their data for scale.
- A deep understanding of what is possible via Configuration vs. Customization. You should know when a requirement calls for a Flow versus an Apex Trigger.
- Consulting DNA: Experience in a billable, client-facing role is essential. You must be comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Certification in Salesforce Certified Administrator, PMP or CSM (Certified Scrum Master), Salesforce Certified Sales or Service Cloud Consultant is highly preferred.
