Sales Executive Transportation & Logistics Surabaya Based
Qualifications
- Minimum 23 years of proven experience in logistics sales, with a strong focus preferably in sea freight, airfreight and land transportation both domestic as well import and export market.
- Solid understanding of international shipping practices, trade lanes, Incoterms, and freight forwarding operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships and influence decision-makers.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- English, Mandarin language skills are preferred to facilitate business but we welcome applicants who meet the core qualifications regardless of language proficiency.
Job Responsibilities
- You will focus on developing + diversifying business in line with financial + volume targets. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:
- To own, monitor + drive all sales activities for (i.e. prepare quotation) customers within your control, ensuring prospects are identified, qualified + nurtured through the sales pipeline so as to close profitable + sustainable customer deals.
- To align your sales efforts with Managers, Pricing/ Procurement including pricing decisions.
- To monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing + products.
- To report customer feedback to Commercial Director/ Manager, supporting resolutions as required.
- To align with CPS management when onboarding new customers.
- To maintain + update the most relevant customer information in internal systems.
- To regularly review customer portfolios with management + team.
- To focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention + reactivation through high levels of service quality in close collaboration with the procurement/ operation team.
