Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales & Technical Manager located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Sales & Technical Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day sales activities, providing technical support to clients, managing a team of sales professionals, and conducting business development activities. The role also includes project management responsibilities to ensure the successful implementation of commercial and technical solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

• Lead and coach the outside sales team to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor and manage sales KPIs including pipeline health, conversion rates, and profitability.

Technical Management

• Oversee the technical team to ensure high-quality support for customer applications, trials, and problem-solving.
• Facilitate training and development to maintain deep product and application knowledge.
• Collaborate with global technical resources to bring best practices and innovations to the local market.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with supply chain, finance, and operations to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.
• Align sales and technical strategies with regional and global business goals.

Represent customer voice internally to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills
• Team Management and Project Management skills
• Technical Support and Research & Development (R&D) experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in Jakarta, Indonesia
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field
• Experience in the steel or manufacturing industry is a plus
