We are pleased to announce an opening for the position of Sales Support Officer based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To monitor and ensure Sales Lead send to the right PIC as well as following up the result.
  • To frequently contact and or join with sales officer to make courtesy visit to customer.
  • To provide tariff rate and schedule to clients whenever they need.
  • To call any potential shipper and get their prospect shipment / booking.
  • Offering and quoting rate to shipper based on tariff rates or instruction from Trade Manager.
  • To check and provide rates for each of incoming shipping order in which CS does not aware (for new shipper or new dealing rate).
  • Co-ordinate with other sales and or trade manager in quoting a rate or follow up a customer.
  • Co-ordinate with finance department for invoicing purpose.
  • To follow up shipper for cargo nomination that received from a sales lead by providing a proper schedule and other requirement needed by shipper.
  • To correspondence with destination agent who send the sales lead and advice to them the result of shipment arrangement and other necessary information.
  • To fill up the rate into FCM and ensure freight manifest are being processed accurately.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position, fresh graduate is welcome to apply.
  • Knowledge of Shipping Business Process and Market situation.
