Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bandung. This role is responsible for leading and developing the sales team, setting sales targets, and monitoring performance to achieve revenue and growth objectives. Day-to-day activities include identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, preparing sales forecasts and reports, and coordinating with operations, marketing, and product teams to align offerings with customer needs. The Sales Manager will also conduct regular client meetings, negotiate contracts, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. This position involves mentoring team members, optimizing sales processes, and contributing to strategic planning to strengthen Plus Group's market presence.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of commercial/sales leadership experience specifically within precision CNC machining, contract manufacturing, tool & die, or aerospace/defense component manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of closing high-ticket contract manufacturing deals
  • Strong, active network of procurement managers, supply chain directors, and chief engineers within precision industrial, defense, or aerospace sectors.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, understand GD&T requirements, and converse fluently with customer engineering teams.
  • Deep understanding of unit economics in CNC machining (hourly spindle rates, tooling costs, scrap allowances, and margin calculations).
  • Exceptional persuasive communication, executive presentation skills, and high-stakes negotiation ability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent industry background
  • Experience working in multi-industry or integrated business environments is an advantage
