The Role
We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Sales Manager to pioneer our growth in the Offline Modern Trade (MT) channel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing the go-to-market strategy, securing listings with key national accounts, and building the foundation for long-term success.
This role requires a blend of strategic planning, high-level negotiation, and hands-on account management to establish our brand presence in Indonesia's top retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Channel Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to secure direct listings and build partnerships with major national pharmacy chains (Priority: Guardian; Secondary: Watsons, Century).
- Modern Market Penetration: Drive market entry and achieve product listings in premium modern market channels, including key accounts such as Aeon, Ranch Market, Farmers, Diamond, and other relevant retailers.
- Key Account & Distributor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and distributor partners. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships to ensure strategic alignment, smooth execution, and achievement of sales targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal teams (Offline Sales, E-commerce, Warehouse & Logistics, Finance, and Marketing) to support account development, manage promotions, and ensure operational excellence from listing to fulfillment.
- Analysis & Reporting: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance within the MT channel, providing regular reports and actionable insights to management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A total of 8-10 years of proven experience in offline sales.
- Minimum of 5 years recent, focused experience managing the Modern Trade (MT) channel, specifically as a Key Account Executive or Key Account Manager.
- A demonstrable track record of successfully securing listings and managing key accounts within major pharmacy chains (Guardian, Watsons, etc.) and/or premium supermarkets (Aeon, Ranch Market, etc.).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable plans.
- Proactive, independent, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
