Senior position: Sales Manager in Forestry Sector
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow and maintain the customer base in the forestry sector
- Actively pursue business development opportunities and acquire new customers
- Build, manage, and nurture long-term, sustainable customer relationships
- Lead and motivate the sales team with goal setting and performance coaching
- Manage and optimize CRM data and sales pipelines effectively
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy
- Negotiate contracts and close deals aligned with company objectives
- Collaborate closely with internal departments such as operations and product management
- Ensure compliance with sustainability and sourcing standards within the forestry industry
Qualification:
- Minimum 10 years of sales or negotiating experience, preferably in forestry or related industries
- Proven track record in business development and customer relationship management
- Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications, ideally with forestry or business focus
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Leadership experience with the ability to develop and inspire teams
- Solid understanding of forestry market dynamics and sustainable business practices
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Spoken and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, theoretical and practical
- Willingness to travel as required
