Key Responsibilities (What You Will Be Doing)
- Take full ownership of sales performance in your assigned region in Indonesia. Plan and execute sales activities to achieve monthly and quarterly sales KPIs.
- Develop new customers, including main contractors, property developers, project owners, hardware stores (toko bangunan), and distributors, while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing accounts.
- Understand project requirements and provide suitable product solutions, including waterproofing systems, construction coatings, sealants, adhesives, and drymix products. Work closely with the technical team to support on-site technical issues when required.
- Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and commercial documents. Participate in price and contract negotiations and drive deals to successful closure.
- Coordinate with internal teams (technical support, customer service, logistics, finance, and marketing) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and excellent customer experience.
- Conduct regular market visits across Indonesia to monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and market dynamics. Provide timely feedback on new opportunities, projects, and market trends.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, seminars, and technical sharing sessions to enhance brand awareness and market presence.
Qualifications (The Type of Person We're Looking For)
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline; engineering, chemistry, architecture, or construction-related majors are preferred.
- Minimum 35 years of sales experience in the Indonesian construction materials industry, with hands-on experience in at least one of the following product categories:
- Waterproofing products (membranes, coatings, sealants, etc.)
- Construction or industrial coatings
- Adhesives, grout, drymix, mortar, or related building materials
- Candidates with prior experience from Sika Indonesia, Saint-Gobain Indonesia, Nippon Paint Indonesia, Mapei Indonesia, Fosroc, Weber, BASF Construction Chemicals, or major local distributors / manufacturers will be highly preferred.
- Strong existing network within the Indonesian construction market, including contractors, developers, consultants, and building material distributors, with the ability to generate results quickly.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Able to communicate confidently in Bahasa Indonesia and English; Mandarin is a strong advantage.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with strong ownership and time-management skills.
- Willing to travel frequently within Indonesia (Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, etc.); prior experience handling multi-region territories is a plus.
