We are looking to employ a sales-driven and customer-oriented sales officer who can help us expand our business. The primary responsibility of this role is to qualify deals and conduct discovery calls with potential clients. Sales officer will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying qualified leads and effectively communicating the value of our solutions to potential customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Master qualification and value-based selling using Command of the Message strategies
- Track and manage prospects through the sales pipeline using CRM software. Provide accurate and timely updates on prospect interactions, deal status, and sales forecasts
- Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on the product roadmap, industry changes, and competitive landscape. Communicate product benefits and differentiators to prospects during discovery calls
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and sales materials as needed
- Provides industry and product knowledge to customers on segment specific value propositions and helps customize the existing product portfolio to their needs with solution sales techniques
- Monitor market, customer, and competitor trends in account to strategically position the company's products and services better
- Generate regular reports and metrics to measure the effectiveness of qualification and discovery efforts. Identify areas for improvement and propose actionable recommendations
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of quota carrying and closing experience. Preferably within the SaaS industry
- Demonstrated ability to identify and qualify potential leads, including conducting research and assessing prospect needs
- Strong selling, competitive objection handling, and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and contribute to revenue growth, while being empathetic to customer's needs
- Audible-ready seller capable of morphing the sales conversation on the fly depending on who is in the room and what is most important in the moment
- Adept at using CRM tools and other inside sales tools to manage accounts, contacts, and opportunities throughout the sales process
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and objection-handling skills. Ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions to potential customers
- Self-motivated and success-driven with a strong work ethic. Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads, tasks, and priorities simultaneously
- Enthusiastic about technology, able to understand and present complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
- Collaborative mindset with a willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams
