Job Description

This position is for Fosroc Indonesia and we will need 2 person to be located in

  1. Palembang
  2. Batam

Objectives of the rol

  • Set up selling strategy to achieve sales target with good margin in all segment within Sumatera ( Around Batam Area ). The coverage area will focusing on Batam area and surrounding
  • Penetrate all opportunities at every area above and also find the local potential and strong companies to be appointed as our local applicators
  • Capture customer demands from time to time to deliver product forecast accurately
  • Make coordination with related internal departments to ensure we give as best as possible service to our customers and to fulfil all reasonable customers requests
  • Meet Fosroc Healthy, Safety and Environment (EHS) Targets – zero Days Away from Work (DAFWC), zero High Potential Incident (HIPO), zero Major Incidents (MI)

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Develop business contacts for all segment to meet and exceed business plan sales targets
  • Update regularly all customer and project database. Monitor receivable collection within the area. Make coordination with finance to ensure the payment collection from customers are paid on time.
  • Manage pricing structure between applicator, contractor and end users.
  • Schedule and make regular visits to all customer categories: owner facilities, engineering houses, main contractors, and applicators, to update project status and ensure our products are used on each project
  • Effectively manage the balance between risk and opportunity in the area of sales activities
  • Track and document the activities of competitors, customers (direct and indirect) and clients, then formulate effective strategies to maximise Fosroc sales.
  • Generate new product development through the company innovation process and launch new products, as required in sales strategy, into the market segments

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering preferable
  • Preferably five years of sales experience in the Chemical Construction Industry / Building material
  • Has experience as Sales Engineer
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Experience in the General Building segments
  • The ability to enjoy working a multicultural environment.
