About the Company

Position: Sales Engineer

Location: Based in Jakarta, Indonesia

Responsibilities

  • Training & Empowerment – Conduct product knowledge training for the general distributor, their team, and sub-dealers, clearly articulating our competitive advantages and application scenarios against rivals, with a marketing mindset to convert product features into sales scripts and promotional plans.
  • Market Intelligence – Collect data on tool demand across key industrial cities, competitor movements (pricing, promotions, new product launches), report regularly, and proactively propose localized marketing initiatives based on insights.
  • Sales Support – Assist the general distributor in developing sell-through plans to drive end-user off-take, conduct independent field visits to resolve issues, and lead the design of promotional mix strategies tailored to different dealer tiers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of sales experience in Indonesia's power tools / hardware / building materials channel
  • Familiar with competing brands (Makita, Bosch, Dongcheng, RYU, Ingco, etc.)
  • Indonesian speaker with working English proficiency
  • Owns personal vehicle and able to travel independently
  • Proven ability in independent marketing planning and proactive recommendation-making, not just passive execution
  • Familiarity with existing dealer networks and channel resources is a plus
