Sales Engineer - PLC

The Sales Engineer - PLC role supports business development activities for a Japanese trading company specialising in industrial equipment, factory automation, and welding solutions. The position combines technical knowledge with customer engagement, solution proposals, and cross-functional coordination to support sales targets and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and propose appropriate technical solutions
• Conduct customer visits and prepare quotations
• Build and maintain relationships with industrial clients
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Technical knowledge of factory automation, programmable logic controllers (PLC) and control systems, welding equipment, or industrial electrical equipment
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Valid SIM A driving licence and willingness to travel
